Accept the Challenge (Road to the House that God Built – Week 8)
Excerpt from Creating Utopia – Living Life as a Miracle Worker
Have you heard it yet? The whisper that echoes across your soul when you are sitting alone in a quiet place and just being one with God? Maybe you felt the whisper through your soul, your intuition, or just a slight chill throughout your entire body when you think about the possibility of being with your greatest goal. What does it feel like to you? Would you even recognize it if you did come face to face with the possibility of your destiny, or would you continue to ignore it because the dream just feels too far out of reach to believe it’s yours?
I’ve been in your shoes more times than I care to admit. As a communications coach since 2008, I have relished in living my purpose by empowering women across the world. Little did I know when I first asked God to show me my truth that all roads would lead to you. Literally. If you are reading these words, then you are the beautiful soul that God is trying to reach and share a message with. My prayer is that through these words, you will become inspired to reach higher, dream bigger, and dig deeper into your soul than you have ever done before.
When I wrote my first spiritual book, Through the Eyes of Truth – A Conversation with God About My Life, Your Life & Discovering Our Purpose, I wrote down every single word I heard God speak into my soul. This answered prayer came when I dropped to my knees one afternoon feeling broken and despondent, and asked God to show me my truth. Little did I know at the time that God would take me down a new road that only I would walk through hearing Source speak guidance and love into my spirit. I became a published author, a coach to empower women around the world, and began realizing my greatest life on every level from listening to my answered prayers.
I discovered that with every new goal comes an equally new challenge. Stepping out of your fear is one of the greatest challenges you may ever face when starting a new journey towards a miraculous goal. Fear comes through so many areas in our lives doesn’t it? We often hear the fear of failure echo through our minds, the fear of standing out on a pageant stage or the stage of life, or even the fear of winning. With any new goal comes in new challenges, but I feel this is where you grow.
By facing every new challenge in your life, you may just realize that fear is an illusion. Now, there is a difference between fear and danger. Danger is very much real, but fear is often our mind creating scenarios that incite our apprehension rather than encourage your triumphs. If you have ever entered a pageant or a competition where the perceived winner came from luck or just being a special child of God, then you know what I am referring to.
I have been guilty of stepping out of my light because it feels safer to hide behind the curtain of the known than step out into the world of the unknown. Whether you apply for a promotion or even compete against millions of people through an on-line entry for a multi-million-dollar prize package, you are still accepting the challenge to believe in something you have yet to see manifested in front of you right? After all, the lucky are perceived to be the chosen few who some feel that God favors over others. But ask yourself how a God who creates us all from love and is pure perfection be faulted to the point where one child is favored over another?
So many beliefs I had been taught as a child had to be faced when I began having my serious conversations with God and wanted to ask every question I could think of that would help me change my perspective on life, love, and answered prayers. I personally believe that luck is what creation and deliberate intention to manifest look like to those who choose not to be proactive actors on this stage called life. I had to question everything I didn’t understand that was taught to me by people who had their own perspective of fear-based thinking and believed it to be truth.
Look at your goals and those dreams that you have tucked away in the corner of your soul. Ask yourself how you can bring these goals to life, and then pray, pray, pray. I make it a point to ask God to show me what my new goal and journey looks like through the eyes of truth… through the eyes of God. Whenever I feel stuck in my action steps towards climbing my miracle mountain, building momentum without pausing too long from distractions, or just stepping out of my fear… I pray. A lot! If you heard my conversations with God, you would probably wonder why I talk to God so much about my love for fashion and one day visiting New York City, attending a designer show during #NYFW, or possibly becoming a New York Times Best Selling Author!
My relationship with God is my precious gift and nobody gets to tell me what it should look like. Nor should they be telling you. My role through all of my books and personal coaching is to send you back to the Source of your miracle and your soul blueprint… this is God. Then you can ask for yourself about the questions you have to God and learn to listen from your heart, soul, and mind. As you receive your answers, ask God to confirm your whispers so you can start learning to decipher your God whispers and better communicate with the source of love who cherishes you beyond words. If that in and of itself isn’t worth accepting the challenge to reach for the next level of yourself, then I don’t know what is!
So often we have a difficult time accepting the challenge of a new goal because you may feel stuck where you are and cannot move past what you are seeing in front of you. In other words, you may be focusing so much on what’s already manifested that you have convinced yourself that nothing else exists outside of what you see. After all, you live in a physical world and since childhood are taught so often to believe in what you see and don’t believe in your imagination. Yet within your imagination lies the greatest treasure chest of untapped potential and unlimited thoughts.
Grant yourself the approval to do more, love deeper, and laugh harder than you ever have before. The world needs your light as well as the light and love from all of the miracle workers around you. Never underestimate the power you have to change the world one person at a time. I believe this is how you take the storm by light. So, let’s take a journey together through the pages of this diary and explore the world of infinite possibilities!
xoxo,
